Fundraising total as of December 2021

12 months ago we were putting a business plan together for Head Up Charity. August 2021 - Head Up was given its full CIO charitable status by the England and Wales Charity Commission Board. September 2021 - We started our 24-month fundraising phase, in search of £3m to develop our unique and desperately needed 7-day holistic Armed Forces retreat. October 2021 - Head Up Charity, publicly went live. And to date we are able to say we have almost raised £300,000 towards the retreat. It is a phenomenal amount of money in such a short period and puts us well on our way to reaching our quarterly targets. We would like to thank all of our amazing fundraises and everyone who has donated. To everyone who has helped share our story and get the Head Up vision known far and wide. Thank you. I have served for nearly 18 years in the British Army, completing several frontline tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. I have been blown up by RPGs (Rocket-Propelled Grenades) and with an IED (Improvised Explosive Device), experiencing hundreds of firefights and seeing my comrades, my friends, blown up on numerous occasions.
